I’m Christine, it’s nice to see you here! Writing and helping others are my passions, so for years I’ve helped authors gear up their books to impress readers, agents, and publishers. Have a love for cozy mystery, romance, and fantasy? Me too!
Rather than reinvent a work, I prefer to amplify it. My specialty is identifying and distilling the core elements of your story so we can enhance them. I bring zeal for the writing craft. I can go beyond correcting typos (though I’m happy to catch them!) and provide insights that equip you to crisply convey your story and enchant your reader.
With over seven years of freelance experience, I earned my BA and MA in Writing Arts at Rowan University to strengthen my ability to support you. I honed my craft skills and knowledge through intensive courses in English grammar, creative non-fiction, peer workshops, middle grade fiction, writing rhetoric, young adult fiction, and more. As a member of the Editorial Freelancers Association, I keep up to date with the publishing industry so I can help your story succeed. I’m freelance because I want to work with you.
The essence of good editing is that it’s active. It’s rooted in putting the needs of the creator and story first. Active editing provides insights and suggestions, but leaves the creation up to the author. I love joining a writer in their writing journey, to share in the small victories and moments of revelation. I’m excited to be your sounding board and your constructive partner.
